Alyssa Lucca is a project leader and skilled creative, having managed several large to small video projects for numerous companies and organizations. Alyssa has over a decade of working experience in film, television, documentary, and web content, and is currently active in all of these realms. Presently, Alyssa is the Director of Video for an educational company, where she leads a team of creatives in all facets of video production for web content development. Alyssa is also currently a freelance ethnographic researcher and story developer for television and film production companies, some of which have been nominated for several national Awards. Additionally, Alyssa takes on freelance projects from being hired as a freelance video editor or freelance cinematographer, to a freelance video director and project manager for various companies and organizations.

Alyssa holds a Masters degree in Visual Anthropology (Documentary Filmmaking) from the University of Southern California and a Bachelors degree in International Studies from the University of California, San Diego. She has directed and co-directed several documentaries and photo-series, whose central themes span categories such as nostalgia, existentialism, grassroots activism, community, technology, societal structure and responsibility, and more. Alyssa's work has been featured in several publications, film festivals, and media networks.
